A healing class of relaxation, reflection, and positive energy work everyone/anyone can do. You need NO experience for meditation. Meditation 101 walks you through 5, 7, and 10 minute increments of meditating, stopping and stretching briefly in between. Meditaiton 201 takes you up to two-10 minute increments of quietly meditating. This class helps relax a busy mind as well as an on-the-go body. Great for ALL!
Developed in the 1920’s by the founder of The New York Pilates Studio, Joseph H. Pilates, The Pilates Method is and exercise system focused on improving flexibility and strength for the total body without the bulk. Pilates is a series of controlled movements engaging your body and mind, performed on reformers or on the mat supervised by an extensively trained instructor. Pilates will strengthen the abdomen; lower back, hips, buttocks also known as the “powerhouse" mixed with foundations of Yoga.
Qi Gong/Tai Chi:
This class combines Qi Gong, Tai Chi, meditation and energy work. Through movement, breathing and visualizations, you will reduce stress, maintain health, and bring harmony to the mind, body and spirit. This class is dedicated to all with nagging pain, arthritis, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, ETC., One of the more beautiful classes.
Physical and Spiritual discipline, a part of which, includes breath control, simple mediation, and adaption of specific body postures is practiced for health and relaxation.
Our classes are geared toward the “Real” person. We teach you to flow at your own pace. To work towards feeling good!
